Later, Thad invite Homer to join him on his journey to new places, but he refuses, because all he needs is right there at Springfield, at the [[The Lava Cake Manufactory]].

In the future, at the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence institute, Professor Lisa is the lead astrophyisicist and when they enstablish contact with an alien ship, is asked to convey humanity's first words to extraterrestrial life, however Bart is back at copying her, and their message is received by [[Kang]] and [[Kodos]], that after hearing their war-like nature they commence obliteration of the planet which explodes, while Bart and Lisa tell each other it's their fault.

"Stew Lies" is the twentieth episode of season 36 of The Simpsons and the seven hundred eighty-eight episode overall. It originally aired on May 4, 2025. The episode was written by Broti Gupta and directed by Debbie Bruce Mahan. It guest stars Maurice LaMarche as an unknown character, Joe Mantegna as Fat Tony, Mads Mikkelsen as Wilhelm von Wonthelm (uncredited), and John DiMaggio as Thad Parkour.

Synopsis

"Homer reinvigorates a celebrity chef's lost passion for food -- with some help from the mob."


Plot

At the Try-N-Save, after Bart says shotgun first to get in the front of the car, they start fighting with Lisa copying him. When Marge has had enough, she tells Lisa to get on front. Bart is mad and the next day, he starts copying her. The banter continuees even at school, eating at a restaurant, and during eye exham. At home, Homer watches Dude vs. Food, hosted by Thad Parkour, when Lisa interrupts him to ask to tell Bart to stop as it has been a month but he ignores her to continue watching.

Two months later, she thinks of a way to make the best out of it, by teaching him Mandarin, taking him to the Springfield Aquarium for her protests, teaching him how to play the sax, and then reflect on what happened in this months giving her the knowledge that he will always be by her side and she'll always feel loved and protected and that he's the best big brother a girl can ask for. After that, they hug and tell they love each other, and incite Marge to call her sisters to tell them how much they mean to her, and Homer to tell Thad some things too, after wondering who taught them hugging.

The stew's recipe was created by real life chefs Kenji Lopez-Alt and Deb Perelman. The original recipe is for Stew of Violence which many are calling The Stew of the Summer.[1][2]
