The Maude in the Machine is a premium questline in The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It was introduced in the Valentine's Day 2016 content update. It requires Maude and Mona to be obtained.

Pt. 1[edit]

After tapping on Maude's exclamation mark It's nice to have another ghost around the place. Finally, I can have a conversation that doesn't end with the other person running away screaming. Thanks, Maude. In life, we probably wouldn't have gotten along. But in death, well... beggars can't be choosers. That's the spirit! Oh, my first ghost pun. You really bring out my naughty side. Maybe you could help me out a bit? Show me the gallows ropes, so to speak. Of course. This will be fun. Just like rush week at the convent! Task: "Make Maude Teach Mona About Being a Ghost". The job takes place at the Gypsy Fortune Teller Shop or a Brown House and takes 4 hours. The main thing to keep in mind is if you ever hear "Who you gonna call?" run for it. And vacuums and dustbusters are not your friend. What about Roombas? They're fine, as long as they don't flip over. Quest reward: 100 and 10

After tapping on Mona's exclamation mark So Maude, do you ever regret all those Sundays you spent in church? I don't know. Do you regret all those Sundays you spent sinning and trying to overthrow our good Christian government? Hey! We ended up in the same place -- you can't act all "holier than thou." You're right. Unless I can find a way to still be holier than thou... Task: "Make Maude Build a Church in Heaven". The job takes place at the First Church of Springfield and takes 24 hours. Quest reward: 200 and 20
