The landlord is the owner of Otto's apartment.
History[edit]
Otto lost his job as a school bus driver after crashing the Springfield Elementary School bus. When he returned home that night, he found his apartment's door locked with a notice of eviction on it. The landlord then appeared to tell Otto that he could no longer live there because he hadn't paid the rent.
