History
Bart and Homer watched an episode of Frasier, where Niles told his brother Frasier that he permitted his father to intimidate him, because he has a sidearm.
Behind the Laughter
Niles Crane is played by David Hyde Pierce, who voiced Cecil Terwilliger in "Brother from Another Series" and "Funeral for a Fiend". Cecil Terwilliger is Sideshow Bob's brother, who is voiced by Kelsey Grammer, who played Frasier Crane, Niles' brother, in Frasier.
