Clark is an orderly at the Springfield Retirement Castle.
History
The Retirement Castle orderly threw Abraham Simpson out as he was too cranky. Abe then said that he had a right to be cranky as the food stinks and the TV only has one channel. When the orderly told Abe that what he thought was a TV was actually a fish tank, Abe then called the orderly a fish tank, which hurt the orderly and made him cry into the shoulder of another orderly. The orderly then said that he wished he was a fish tank because then he could filter out Abe's nasty words.
