When Lisa taught the students at the school that women could go into politics, Lucy Burns said that she had been inspired to found the national women's party.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
Lucy Burns is a reference to Lucy Burns, an American suffragist and women's rights advocate who co-founded the National Woman's Party. In the comic story, she resembles Mr. Burns.
