Mob Rules was probably inspired by this scene from The Simpsons Movie.

Mob Rules is the 5th mission on The Simpsons Game. It is the first mission to include Marge. It is the first mission to include 'invisible barriers' and police barricades. The Cliche 'invisible barriers' appears on this mission if one runs into the Police barricade (which is a Krusty product saying 'Krusty sez back'.)
