Character Information
|
Big Solar was a businessman who represented the corporation of the same name. He went to college with Big Tobacco.
Daylight Saving Crisis in Springfield
When Springfield successfully passed a law stating that Daylight Saving Time was to be abolished, the Big Solar corporation did not like this decision, so they sent Big Solar to get the law changed back. However, by that time Mayor Quimby had already changed and repelled the maximum amount of laws possible for him to change in a year. When the town reverted back to following Daylight Saving Time, Big Solar used Springfield as a story to tell school children to warn them against messing with the time. It was exaggerated, however, with the town on fire and vampires taking over.
