Kara "Starbuck" Thrace is a character in Battlestar Galactica.
History
When Bart was upset about new student Barb Simpkins being able to do everything he did, only better, Comic Book Guy told him that much like Starbuck on Battlestar Galactica, he had been replaced by a superior female version and there was no point fighting it.
Behind the laughter
Comic Book Guy's observation is a reference to the Starbuck character having been male in the 1970s TV series but female in the reboot series of the 2000s.
