Mr. Parkfield is the father of Hugh Parkfield.
History[edit]
When Lisa went to England to visit Hugh's parents, he met Mr. and Mrs. Parkfield. After Mr. Parkfield made a joke, Lisa laughed. Mr. Parkfield enjoyed her "boisterous American laugh". When Lisa and Hugh were getting married, Mr. and Mrs. Parkfield went to Springfield to attend the wedding. Hugh introduced his parents to Homer.
