MacGyver is an American television series, starring Richard Dean Anderson as MacGyver.
History
MacGyver is Patty's and Selma's favorite TV show. They watch the show religiously and idolize both MacGyver and Richard Dean Anderson. They rarely miss an episode.
When Jay Sherman was telling Patty and Selma which actors were gay, and Homer suggested he said "MacGyver". He did, and it ended with him getting a wedgie, as Patty and Selma were big fans of MacGyver.[1]
When Selma started menopause, she decided to adopt a child from China and visited the Consulate of China. Here she learned from Mr. Zhao that she needed a husband to adopt a child.
