Winnie-the-Pooh is a bear.

History

Homer is attacked by a bear at the Springfield Dump. The experience traumatizes him. Eventually, at his home, he imagines fictional bears, including Baloo, Yogi Bear, Fozzie Bear, Rupert, Pudsey, Winnie the Pooh, Smokey the Bear, Snuggle the Fabric-Softener Bear, two large bears wearing Chicago Bears uniforms. Gummi Bears, Teddy Grahams and Paddington Bear, marching towards him.^[1]

A toy of Winnie-the-Pooh was seen in the Simpsons home at Waverly Hills.^[2]
