Miss Viola is a woman who lives in a country house, just outside Springfield, she is a lesbian
History
When Mr. Burns wanted to get Bongo put down, Abe and Homer took Bongo to her to keep him safe. Abe mistook her wife for her husband, annoying both women. Bongo reluctantly went to live with Miss Viola.
A few months later, Homer went back to rescue Bongo. He found that Miss Viola had changed his name to "Hendrix" and that he was happy. A couple of years later, Miss Viola sent Abe a Christmas card with a picture of Hendrix on, lying on Homer's old sweatshirt.
