Joshua and Amber's mother is the unnamed mother of Joshua and Amber. Joshua is great at football and Amber got the lead in the school play. She normally uses their grades as a tie-breaker, but one year they both got straight A's. She presumably has a husband who works at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, as she attends Mr Burns's family picnic, where she gets drunk on punch and befriends Marge Simpson. She later sings a song with Marge.
