The Fabergé eggs dealer was a luxury goods seller who provided expensive decorative Fabergé eggs to Bleeding Gums Murphy.
History
Bleeding Gums Murphy repeatedly purchased Fabergé eggs as part of an extravagant daily habit. When Murphy requested yet another egg, the dealer questioned whether he had already bought enough and warned him about the high cost, but ultimately continued the sale after Murphy insisted. Murphy’s continued spending on these purchases was later described as a major factor in the depletion of his earnings from his music career.
