Nevada is one of the 50 states in the US. Its capital is Carson City and largest city is Las Vegas.

History

The televised boxing match The Bout to Knock the Other Guy Out, featuring Drederick Tatum and Watson, took place in Las Vegas.[1]

The Simpsons watch Troy McClure host the Miss American Girl Pageant which was live from Laughlin, Nevada.[2]

Lisa needed to go as a state for her school's Geography Pageant. Marge suggested Nevada, as they had leaglized gambling in Springfield. Lisa objected, though, as Nevada made her butt look big.[3]

Homer took Ned to Las Vegas in order to show him how to live. During this trip, both men marry two Nero's Palace waitresses after getting drunk.[4]

After getting run out of Florida, the Simpson family was trying to decide on where to go for their next vacation. They were looking at a map of the US that had most of states crossed out, which were apparently all the states that the Simpsons were no longer allowed to enter.[5]

In a telephone message, Homer states that he and Bart were sent to the Nevada State Prison after getting into a fight with a pit boss in Las Vegas and need bail money.[6]

Trivia

  • In Nevada it is illegal to ride a camel on a public highway.[7]
