History
Dick Cavett was presenting an award at the Regional ACE Awards show. He mentioned that he knew Woody Allen. After the show, he was speaking to Homer, who was dressed as Krusty the Clown. Cavett wanted to tell Homer stories about celebrities that involved him somehow. When he tried to tell a story about having dinner with Groucho Marx, Homer threatened to let him have dinner with Groucho that night if he didn't "beat it."[1]
