History

Miss Maine was a contestant in the Miss American Girl Pageant.[1]

After getting run out of Florida, the Simpson family was trying to decide on where to go for their next vacation. They were looking at a map of the US that had most of states crossed out, which were apparently all the states that the Simpsons were no longer allowed to enter.[2]

The Simpsons watched Eat-Down Chowder Challenge on The Chew Network where celebrity chef Scotty Boom is in Portland, Maine for a lobster dish competition against the local Gilbert family.[3]
