Scrat is a saber-toothed squirrel-rat. Willie kicks him for taking his acorn only to get the tables turned on him as Scrat attacks back.
Behind the laughter
He features in Ice Age, Ice Age 2: The Meltdown, and Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs and has been repeatedly tortured after trying to capture and break a simple little acorn.
Scrat's name is derived from squirrel and rat. They were put together to become Scrat.
