He convinced Mr. Burns to start his own for-profit college, Burns University. After seeing how good a teacher Homer was, he bought the university from Mr. Burns and took Homer to teach robots so they could enter Yale University and get student loans to funnel billions of taxpayer dollars to him.

Homer and the other teachers decided they had to stop him and his army of robots. Since they were perfect students in every way, Homer wore "botface," which deeply offended them and caused them to self-destruct because the teachers made them too human. A head from one of the robots then knocked him out.
