Calvin is a young boy appearing in the background throughout Bart the Genius and has two speaking roles. He is a genius and attends the Enriched Learning Center for Gifted Children. According to Ms. Mellon, he and Tanya had argued that free will is an illusion. Later at lunch, he and his apparent best friend, Sydney Swift are making fun of Bart Simpson's stupidity. He asks Bart to swap the weight of a bowling ball on the eighth moon of Jupiter to the weight of a feather on the ninth moon of Jupiter for his lunch, Bart says yes and he gives him a small grape and takes his huge sandwich. Later, he is talking to Sydney and Ian, where he states Bart is 'just not very bright at all'.
