History

Bart and Homer once teased Lisa with a song, saying that she is going to Stanford, after Lisa became concerned about whether being arrested would reduce her chances of being accepted by an Ivy League university.[2]

When Lisa played Marching Band she saw that the game had all the best college marching bands, "from the precision footwork of Ohio State to the lame, dead-on-arrival humor of Stanford".[3]
