The Yeti is the father of Moe Szyslak who lives on Mt. Everest.
History
The yeti found the flag that a man who climbed Everest was carrying and gave it to his son, Moe Szyslak. He found Moe in a cave and took care of Moe until he ran away. The yeti died of depression after finding out that Moe was gone.
Behind the Laughter
In the real world, the Yeti is an ape-like cryptid (similar to Bigfoot) that is reputed to live in the Himalayas.
