After Sideshow Bob abandoned a disabled Harrier Jump Jet, he escaped aboard the Wright brothers' Model B aircraft displayed at the Springfield Air Show. Witnessing the theft, Colonel Leslie "Hap" Hapablap exclaimed that "the Smithsonian's gonna have my ass on a platter," expressing concern over the loss of the historic aircraft.[1]
