Through a Mug Darkly is a Simpsons Comics story first printed in Simpsons Comics #177.
Synopsis[edit]
- When Homer gets sick with the flu, he drinks a whole bottle of flu medicine. He then dreams that he's in a horrible world where there is no beer, which he tries to fix.
Plot[edit]
At the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, Homer finds out that it's free pizza day in three days' time. Mr. Burns questions Smithers why they do this, and Smithers says it's so the employees don't ask for higher wages and more benefits. Homer goes home for the weekend, excited for free pizza day.
