Quadruped is a race dog from Springfield Downs. He out raced Santa's Little Helper. His name comes from the word Quadruped, which means a four legged animal, which comes from the Latin quad meaning four, and ped meaning feet.
History[edit]
Homer, Bart and Barney went to the Springfield Dog Track to bet the 13 dollars Homer had made working as a mall Santa. The dog Quadruped can be seen in the race fighting Whirlwind, Fido and Dog O' War for the lead.
