Mav is a professional surfer who, along with his wife, Portia, became the guardians of Bart, Lisa, and Maggie.
History[edit]
When Homer and Marge were looking for guardians, just in case anything happened to them, they chose Mav and Portia.[1]
When Bart's temporary tattoo washed off in the sea, Mav picked it up and stuck it on his arm, telling the other surfer to check out his gnarly new tattoo.[2]
