"The Last Temptation of Homer" is the ninth episode of broadcast season 5 of The Simpsons and the ninetieth episode overall. It originally aired on December 9, 1993. The episode was written by Frank Mula and directed by Carlos Baeza. It guest stars Werner Klemperer as Colonel Klink and Michelle Pfeiffer as Mindy Simmons.

Synopsis[edit]

Homer finds himself attracted to the new female employee at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, Mindy Simmons. Determined not to have an affair, he does all he can to keep them apart, despite the universe pushing them together. Meanwhile, a series of medical treatments turns Bart into a nerd.

Plot[edit]

Bart plays a prank on the teachers by making all the parking space lines too close to each car and therefore not leaving enough space for the teachers to get out of their cars. Afterwards, Mrs. Krabappel blames Bart for what happened and Bart is forced to answer every question for the rest of the year as punishment.
