Right before she asked for a divorce, when the Van Houtens were fighting at Homer and Marge's dinner party, Milhouse's mother told them and the rest of the guests in the room how her own father gave Milhouse's father a "sweet job" as manager at the cracker factory, which Homer immediately interjected with, "Boring."
