Mayor Quimby made a commercial for the new Statue of Jebediah Springfield, which would be an interactive animatronic statue. In the advert, Billy and his father visited the Lincoln Memorial, Liberty Bell, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and Mount Rushmore, but were bored by all of these monuments. They then visited the new Statue of Jebediah Springfield in Springfield. The statue lifted Billy up and put him on its knee and told Billy that he founded Springfield in 1796. Billy was impressed and said that the statue was "so interactive."
