History[edit]
During the Simpson family's visit to Storytown Village, a Mother Goose figure appeared among the nursery rhyme-themed attractions. During Bart Simpson's ride on the Toddlerville Trolley, the train collided with the statue of Paul Bunyan, causing his axe to strike and decapitate the nearby Mother Goose figure.[1] After the park closed, the decapited statue remained as part of the park's scenery before the park was later transformed into Praiseland.[2]
Mother Goose was mentioned by Marge Simpson while singing a bedtime lullaby to Bart Simpson. In the song, the "sleepy train" was said to travel to visit Mother Goose as part of its journey to Snoozyland.[3]
