During Bart Simpson's surgery and Lisa's visit to Springfield General Hospital, the hot dog vendor was present inside the hospital environment, calling out to sell hot dogs to patients, visitors, and staff. He was later seen again at Springfield Cemetery during Bleeding Gums Murphy's funeral, continuing to sell hot dogs even during the burial service.
