History[edit]
When Lisa was told by Mrs. Scarborough that they were going to do a play based on a great Canadian novel, Oliver asked if it would be The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz by Mordecai Richler. The teacher then told Oliver that they might do it next year, to which Oliver muttered under his breath that "it's never Duddy".
After Lisa had gone, Oliver again asked if they could do Duddy Kravitz. The teacher then said they were going to watch an episode of The Beachcombers instead, which annoyed Oliver.
