The newscaster an unnamed television reporter who worked for Channel 6.
History[edit]
During ongoing television coverage of the scandal surrounding Homer Simpson, news helicopters filmed Homer inside his home while he was exiting the shower. Footage of the incident later appeared in a televised scandal update in which the newsman claimed that Homer slept nude in an oxygen tent because he believed it gave him sexual powers. Homer publicly objected to the report, describing the statement as only a half-truth.
