In a basketball game with the Lakers, Magic Johnson had the ball, but his feet slipped and the ball flew out of his hand, hit the referee, and went into the basket for a three-point play just before time ran out, so the Lakers won. Johnson said that it looked like he pulled a Homer.[1]
Krusty told his aides to put five thousand bucks on the Lakers.[2]
Dr. Zander told Kareem Abdul-Jabbar that he was the only Laker he could trust to strangle Homer during their roleplay of Homer strangling Bart.[3]
