History[edit]
When the Simpson family went to the Magic Shop so Bart could find a birthday present for Lisa, Werner Herzog greeted them and asked them what they were looking for. When Marge asked Homer and Bart if they would ever stop fighting, Herzog led them into the fortune teller room to show them the future using Tarot cards. During the story, Homer tried to double down on the Tarot cards, despite Herzog telling him that it wasn't Blackjack. Herzog then told Homer that he went bust and took his money.
Homer asked Herzog how many more Ghostbusters movies would be made in the future, and he told Homer that four would be made, including the Gay Ghostbusters, which was fantastic. Herzog then told the family about his future and that his body would end up in the dumpster behind the store, but nobody cared. He then plugged his gig on Saturday at the Comedy & Magic Club, where he would conjure the spirit of Rodney Dangerfield.
After the story, Lisa asked Herzog how much of it was really true. Herzog told her that he would consult the oracle and pulled out a crystal ball where Nate Silver told Lisa her odds in the future.
