Double Trouble is an event-exclusive questline in The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It was introduced in the Mirror Mayhem content update.

Oh, yes, you've done MORE than enough. *begins villainous laughter* *villainous laughter* I'm beginning to think that this Mr. Burns is as evil as my Mr. Burns. I mean, neither one said anything THAT funny. Task: "Collect Magnifying Glasses" (x115). If Mr. Burns is owned: Task: "Make Burns Cough From Laughing". The job takes place at the Cooling Towers, Control Building, or a Visitable Home and takes 4 hours. If Mirror Homer is owned: Task: "Make Mirror Homer Call Homer". The job takes place at the Cooling Towers, Control Building, or a Visitable Home and takes 4 hours. Task: "Make Homer Answer Mirror Homer's Call". After completing Pt. 1 Lisa, I need your help. Did you forget Mom's birthday again? Why do you always assume that? Because you always do it. I'm only eight years old and you've done it like twenty times in my lifetime. I need your help with Mr. Burns. Is he trying to melt the polar ice caps and drown the planet in ice water? A little. Task: "Collect Magnifying Glasses" (x155). Task: "Make Homer Head to the Plant". The job takes place at the Cooling Towers, Control Building, or a Visitable Home and takes 4 hours. Sir, we've retrofitted the plant to burn petrified wood as you requested, and we've melted seventeen ice caps since breakfast. Don't you think we can push the envelope a bit? What if we start using the nuclear power in this plant to burn dirty coal instead? And deliver twice the carbon emissions in half the time. I like the cut of your jib! Stop! If you melt the polar ice caps, it will lead to a global catastrophe! Really? You know, I didn't care about global catastrophe when all those Nobel laureates warned me about it, but now that Greta Thunberg has... I'm not Greta Thunberg. Oh. After completing Pt. 2 Well, that was a total bust. You simply can't reason with Mr. Burns. But on the plus side, we got a new source of ice cubes. I found seventeen of them on the front lawn just this morning. We can't let them get away with this. Lisa, it isn't all bad. I got promoted to head boilermaker down at the coal plant. You do realize that you don't know the first thing about boilermakers, right? I also don't know the first thing about nuclear safety, but here we are! Task: "Collect Magnifying Glasses" (x155). I know what you said, Grampa, but I think my mirror self will know how to stop the Burns brigade. Can you please show me how it works? Get that thing away from me! It's cursed I tells ya. Cursed! You said the same thing about the garage door opener... ...and Santa's Little Helper... ...and the Hope Diamond... Of course, that WAS cursed. Task: "Collect Magnifying Glasses" (x155). How did you know? That's always a safe bet. Task: "Collect Magnifying Glasses" (x195). Task: "Make Lisa Be Impressed". The job takes place at the Simpson House, Future Simpson's House, Simpson Houseboat, Outlands Simpsons House, or a Visitable Home and takes 4 hours. If Grampa is owned: Task: "Make Grampa Get Nervous". The job takes place at the Simpson House, Future Simpson's House, Simpson Houseboat, Outlands Simpsons House, or a Visitable Home and takes 4 hours. So, what's the evil plan this time? Mr. Burns and Mirror Mr. Burns want to melt the polar ice caps. Hmm. That sounds like the work of Grampa. Grampa? What do you mean? Well, I guess you'd call him Mirror Grampa. He's the head honcho back in our world. Even Mirror Mr. Burns works for him. Grampa, what's she talking about? I guess I've got some explaining to do... Is he going to tell another one of his stories?! I'd rather take my chances with Icebox Armageddon. Quest reward: 200 and 20 Mirror Lisa
