When Patty worked at the Palm Springfield Department of Historic Home Preservation, the stylish patron went to try to get permission to have his kitchen faucet changed in his 1948 Albert Frey house. He told Patty that he and his partner had found a perfect match to the original Pfister center set hammered copper faucet. However, Patty pointed out that there was no patina on it. The stylish patron said that would come with time. Patty told him that he didn't have time and rejected the renovation.
