Pope Francis (born Jorge Mario Bergoglio) is an Argentine priest and the head of the Catholic Church, who is the successor of Benedict XVI, after his resignation.

Bart showed Pope Francis's (@Pontifex) tweet to Lisa, in which Francis said: "Honor thy father + check out this epic votive candle fail!".[1]

Pope Francis was going to enter Springfield, but turned around and fell down due to a bridge collapsing. He was then seen hitchhiking.[2]

Pope Francis' picture was on a captcha screen for Jesuits on the Wayz website. It was one of the pictures that Lisa clicked.[3]
