Carnac the Magnificent was a recurring comedic role played by Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show.
History[edit]
After being replaced by The Be Sharps, Chief Wiggum was watching The Tonight Show when Johnny Carson, characterized as Carnac the Magnificent, named three Castaways: Gilligan, the Skipper, and Chief Wiggum. Angered, he shot at the television.[1]
