The Little Rascals was an American comedy film series, most popular in the 1920s and 1930s. It was originally named "Our Gang", but when aired in repeats on television it was retitled under its current name.

1	3	"Homer's Odyssey"	In the audio commentary to the episode writers Wallace Wolodarsky and Jay Kogen revealed that Mrs. Krabappel's name was a reference to Mrs. Crabtree from the "Little Rascals" series.
4	71	"Marge vs. the Monorail"	When Leonard Nimoy introduces the Star Trek actor with the Star Wars quote "May the force be with you" Nimoy angrily asks him if he actually knows who he is? Quimby then says: "Aren't you one of the Little Rascals?"
7	130	"Radioactive Man"	Moe tells the others he used to be an actor in The Little Rascals. He played the part of "Smelly", a tough kid who as a running gag had to look through an exhaust pipe and get a face full of car soot. This was indeed a typical gag that often occurred in the show. Moe then remembered how he was fired from the show when he was about to look in an exhaust pipe and Alfalfa cut Smelly off, looked in the pipe instead, and got a faceful of soot. Moe, enraged, attacked the Alfalfa actor for stealing his bit, thereby accidentally murdering him. This is a reference to Carl Switzer, the actor who played Alfalfa in The Little Rascals. He was indeed murdered, but it happened when he was an adult, not when he was a child star on the show.
145	"Homer the Smithers"	When Marge is awoken by Homer she reassures him: "Homie, it's 4:30 in the morning. "Little Rascals" isn't until 6." Homer replies: "I know, I'm tapeing it."
10	214	"Wild Barts Can't Be Broken"	The scene where the children take the different electronics through the fence parodies scenes from "The Little Rascals", including Milhouse dressed as Alfalfa and a dog that looks like Pete the Pup. The music sounds similar too.
26	564	"The Musk Who Fell to Earth"	Kent Brockman says: "Attention fans of the "The Little Rascals"! The last of them died today in Palm Springs.".

A footnote from the educational editor explains that Pete was the name of the dog on The Little Rascals. This footnote is immediately followed by one from the "feeling old editor", who adds, "The Little Rascals was a show with kids a hundred years ago!"
