Luke Skywalker is a character in Star Wars.

Mark Hamill played Luke in the original Star Wars film trilogy. His father is Darth Vader. When Homer saw The Empire Strikes Back, which revealed Vader was Luke's father, he spoiled it for everyone who was queuing for the film.[1]

While Lisa Simpson was speaking with Bleeding Gums Murphy during his appearance in the clouds above Springfield, Darth Vader briefly appeared and interrupted their conversation by declaring, "Luke, I am your father." He then disappeared after Murphy complained about the interruptions, allowing Murphy to continue his farewell to Lisa.[2]
