Jerry was surprised by this, as he was the segment producer. Lindsey then fired Jerry, which made Jerry relieved, as he was now free. Jerry then left the building. Outside the building, Marge ran into Jerry again. Jerry warned Marge that daytime television would change her and that she could choose to keep her job or her soul. Marge brushed Jerry off, saying she wasn't much of a changer.
