Nevada is one of the 50 states in the US. It's capital city is Carson City. Its largest city is Las Vegas.
History
Lisa needed to go as a state for her school's geography pageant. Marge suggested Nevada, as they had leaglized gambling in Springfield. Lisa objected, though, as Nevada made her butt look big.[1]
Homer took Ned to Las Vegas in order to show him how to live. During this trip, both men marry two Nero's Palace waitresses after getting drunk.[2]
