J.K. Rowling is the author of the Harry Potter series. She appeared on The Simpsons in the episode The Regina Monologues. She's been a fan of the Simpsons for years, and was especially pleased when the programme did a Potter spoof in 2001, with Bart and Lisa going to wizard school.
