Placido Domingo is a famous Spanish opera singer, one of the Three Tenors. He appears in the episode "The Homer of Seville" as himself. He also commented that Dan Castenelta had an impressive operatic voice, doing all of Homer's singing instead the common practice of having a professional singer "step in" for the singing part.
