Paul McCartney, a world famous indie-rock singer and member of "The Beatles" appeared in Simpsons episode, Lisa the Vegetarian, when Apu Nahasapeemapetilon showed Lisa his secret staircase to a place where Apu goes to quote "Get refuge from the modernworld." Linda McCartney also appeared in this episode.
His tombstone can be seen in Springfield Cemetary in Treehouse of Horror.
McCartney also makes a small cameo leaving a laundromat in the episode Homerazzi.
