Marge: "Bart, I asked you not to whistle that annoying tone!"

[Box factory.]

Factory owner: ...many interesting and important things have been put into boxes over the years. Textiles, other boxes, even children's candy.

Milhouse: Do any of these boxes have candy in them?

Factory owner: No.

Milhouse: Will they ever?

Factory owner: No, we only make boxes that ship nails. Any other questions?

Martin: When will we be able to see a finished box, sir?

Factory owner Oh we don't assemble them here. That's done in Flint, Michigan.

Bart: Have any of your workers ever had their hands cut off by the machinery?

Factory owner: No.

Bart: And then the hand started crawling around and try to strangle everybody?

Factory owner: No, that has never happened.

Bart: Any popped eyeballs?

Factory owner: I'm not sure what kind of factory you are thinking of. We just make boxes here.

Lisa: "And now you can go back to being you instead of a one-dimensional character with a silly catch phrase."

Homer: [smashes a lamp] "D'oh!"

Bart: "Ay caramba!"

Marge: "Hmm..."

[Maggie sucks on her pacifier.].

Flanders: "Hi-diddly-ho!"

[Barney belches.]

Nelson: "Ha Ha!"

Mr. Burns: "Excellent...!"

[Everyone stares at Lisa.]

Lisa: "...if anyone wants me, I'll be in my room."

[Silence after she has left.]

Homer: "What kind of a catchphrase is that?"

Director: Action!

[Bumblebee Man is jumping around the set with lobsters attached to his rear end.]

Bumblebee Man: Ay ya ya yai, no me gusta! Ay...

[Bumblebee Man breaks character.]

[Director comes on stage.]

Bumblebee Man: [natural voice] Uh, I'm sorry, I'm really not comfortable with this scene.

Director: What's the matter lad?

Bumblebee Man: It's just, just that it's the same old kind of gag, isn't it. I mean, let's give the audience some credit.

Director: How about a gigantic mousetrap?

Bumblebee Man: I love it!

[Grips remove lobsters and attach a mousetrap to the stinger of Bumblebee Man's costume.]

Director: Action!

[Bumblebee Man is jumping around the set with the mousetrap attached to his rear end.]

Bumblebee Man: Ay ay ay! No me gusta! Ay, es grande!

Kent: "Yeah, I know I'm on. But I don't care. I don't read the news until I get my danish. Go ahead, try to find a replacement."

Bumblebee Man: "A powerful tidal wave in Kuala Lumpur has killed one hundred and twenty people. Ay, chihuahua! Whoa, whoa, whoa!"

[Bart opens the gate to Channel 6 and the gate guard shuts it.]

Gate Guard: Ah, ah, ah! Do you work here little boy?

Bart: Yeah.

Gate Guard: Well then go right in sir. (opens the gate)

[Bart's schoolfriends are looking around the box factory for Bart.]

Skinner: I'll handle this. Simpson, I'm giving you till the count to three to come out! One! Two! Three! No response That's all I can do.

Krabappel: We better call his parents.

[Simpson residence. Phone rings in the kitchen. Marge comes running downstairs wearing only a towel.]

Marge: Just a minute! Don't hang up! [Marge fails to pick up phone before ringing stops]

[Box Factory.]

Mrs. Krabappel: No answer at home. I'll call his father.

[SNPP. Phone rings. Homer comes running of decontamination showers weaing only a towel

Homer: Just a minute don't hang up! [unlike Marge, Homer makes it to the phone in time] Y'ello? You'll have to speak up I'm wearing a towel.

[Box factory. Homer grabbed Principal Skinner by lapels.]

Homer: What do you mean you lost him? He might've fallen into one of these machines!

[Box comes off assembly line wearing Bart's red hat.]

Homer: Oh my god that's his lucky red hat! He's a box! My boy's a box! [cries out to heavens] Damn you, a box!!
