The Screamapillar is an endangered species that takes up residence in the Simpson family's backyard in the episode "The Frying Game". It is large and red and is similar to a caterpillar. It is easily identified by it's constant screaming. It screams in its sleep. It is sexually attracted to fire. It needs constant reassurance or it will die and is the favorite food of everything. The Simpsons are forced to take care of it. When Homer nearly kills it, and he is sentenced to 200 hours of community service.
