Summary
Simpson Maina: The History of TV's First Family is a 1990 book, and the very first publication regarding to The Simpsons. It was distributed through Consumer Reports' non-profit publisher. It contains information on how Matt Groening and his team of showrunners developed the Simpsons from comics to Tracey Ullman shorts to a series of its own. Alongside are early character profiles, episode summaries, its inspiration from many past primetime sitcoms and of course its immediate cultural impact.
